Tip #1: Clear The Space!
No cleaning job can start with clutter! The first thing you should do before anything else, is CLEAR YOUR SPACE! Remove all shampoo bottles, toothbrushes, baskets, air fresheners, everything and anything that would get in the way of a quick and efficient cleaning job.
Tip #2: Get Rid Of Dust Before You Bring Out The Sprays!
Wiping high contact surfaces, dusting crevices, cleaning cobwebs from every corner, and sweeping the crumbs and crust out of the bathroom will leave you with a perfectly blank canvas so you can bring out the smell goods, bleach and sprays without dealing with the nasty mix of debris and Fabuloso later on!
Tip #3: Bring Out The Sprays!
What are your favorite products? Oxiclean? Microban? Clorox? Mr. Clean? Whatever it is, time to let them shine now! Apply the cleaners to every single thing in your (well ventilated) bathroom. Spray your tub/shower, toilet, sink, cabinets, mirrors, glass, and even door handles if you want the deepest clean. For those with time, let it soak! If you are on a time crunch, spray and scrub as much as needed.
Tip #4: Mop Those Floors!
Swept the floor? Check. Cleaned all surfaces? Check. Now is one of the last steps to cleaning your bathroom: MOP THOSE FLOORS! Grab your favorite cleaning solution, mix it with some warm water, and get to mopping! Be sure to start from the point furthest away from the bathroom exit and work your way out. This will ensure less wet footprints once you finish!
Last But Not Least, Tip #5: Organize!
Alas, you have done the hard parts. You have efficiently cleaned every surface in the bathroom. It is now sparkling clean, it smells like roses and clean linen. Now is the best part of cleaning a bathroom: organizing your things. Restock your toiletries, replace all mats, hang all (washed) towels, and spray one last spritz of your favorite air fresher. Life is good, your bathroom is cleaned, and your life is now in order… time to clean the livingroom.
